Well...we received a call on Monday morning from The Carrick House letting us know that they had to cancel our reception at their facility. The Lexington Historical Society informed The Carrick House on Friday that they had to remove the Greenhouse that is attached to The Carrick House by September 12. Since we need the Greenhouse for our reception, this affected us GREATLY. After a rough 36 hours, we are happy to announce some changes.
Our wedding will now take place on November 6, 2010, at Cathedral of Christ the King with a reception to follow at Spindletop Hall. We are very excited and feel like everything happens for a reason, and that this is truly where we are meant to have our reception and on that date.
We look forward to the next 7 months of planning until the big day.
